Loi Katong in the countryside is very interesting. It's like any parade you would see in the US except with Thai culture replacing Apple pie and baseball. They really like to party at harvest time.
Every third float is a truck with way to many speakers piled on, followed by people dancing and drinking. I would have been passed out from all the nice people offering me drinks. There is something very sincere about a country smile, it's very friendly. I smiled so much yesterday my cheeks hurt this morning.
The skies are lit up with lanterns and fireworks right now. It's daytime and in the background I hear big stuff going off. I am getting to see every corner of Thailand this trip. Its nice to be outside the city.
