Thai Parade

Loi Katong in the countryside is very interesting. It's like any parade you would see in the US except with Thai culture replacing Apple pie and baseball. They really like to party at harvest time.
Every third float is a truck with way to many speakers piled on, followed by people dancing and drinking. I would have been passed out from all the nice people offering me drinks. There is something very sincere about a country smile, it's very friendly. I smiled so much yesterday my cheeks hurt this morning.
The skies are lit up with lanterns and fireworks right now. It's daytime and in the background I hear big stuff going off. I am getting to see every corner of Thailand this trip. Its nice to be outside the city.

Jack Conway's E-mail
Jack Conway just sent me an e-mail asking for ten bucks and telling me he still needs my support. I e-mailed him back telling him I really needed a progressive Democrat capable of winning elections and representing people in my economic class.
Can ya believe the balls on that guy!? Hey! Welcome to the ranks of the unemployed Conway. Jesus! This yo yo snatches defeat from the jaws of victory over a tool like Rand Paul, leaving us represented for the next six years by someone with all the intellectual agility of a small soap dish... And he still wants ten bucks from me! GHHAAaGhh... ARBLEE... Too pissed to even type straight!
